Reintegration

The Reintegration Briefing is mandatory (IAW AFI 10-403) within 7 days return from a deployment longer than 30 days or to a combat zone.
Briefers from the A&FRC, Chapel and Mental Health will speak on topics such as your deployment experience, stress, signs and symptoms of PTSD and more. The briefings are held at 1000 hours every Tuesday and Thursday at the Education Center on main base. Family members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Are you a frequent deployer? If you have previously deployed, returned and attended reintegration at Beale AFB within the last 12 months, you are not required to attend the reintegration briefing unless your commander dictates that you attend.

Call 634-2863 to see if you qualify to skip this briefing based upon the date of your last attendance.

The Reintegration Program hopes of changing how Airmen return back to their communities and families. The phrase, "Beyond the Yellow Ribbon," is a reminder that the support of Airmen cannot end when they return from deployment and the yellow ribbons are untied. Read more about Taking Care of Business, Your Health, and Your Family.

Read our suggestions for a smooth reintegration:

Taking Care of Business: A checklist outlining steps that need to be taken upon returning from deployment. It will help ensure a successful transition back to civilian life.

Taking Care of Your Health: An explanation of the various health issues that Airmen may be experiencing after an overseas deployment.

Taking Care of Your Family / Significant Other: Pointers on how to reconnect with your spouse, significant other, children and/or parents.

FREE CHILDCARE is provided by the Family Child Care Office's Returning Home Care Program. Service members that were deployed for 30 days or more in direct support of the Global War on Terrorism are entitled to 16 free hours of child care per child. Contact the Family Child Care Office at (530) 634-5655 for more information.
