Give Parents a Break for Deployed Families

Every parent and child deserves a little break from demands of full time parenting!

The “Give Parents a Break” program is designed to provide eligible parents with free child care one Saturday a month at the Beale Child Development Center (CDC). Children must be between 6 weeks – 12 years of age. “Give Parents a Break” is normally scheduled for the second Saturday of each month, from 0900-1500 unless otherwise advertised. This program is a collaborative effort between the Air Force Aid Society and the Beale Child Development Center. Please stop by the Airman & Family Readiness Center with a copy of the sponsor’s TDY/Remote PCS orders to obtain a certificate. Each child must be pre-registered with the Child Development center. Please call (530) 634-4717 for required documents.

2nd Saturday of each month (changes on Holiday weekends)

All participants must have a valid referral certificate to be eligible for the free program. Additionally, the CDC is now taking sign-ups for families without referrals at $3.50/hour. Please contact the CDC for information or to confirm the dates and times.
